About Me

Birgitte Moos is a Danish Artist based in Copenhagen and Los Angeles.
Birgitte as a Visual Artist and Set Designer in Denmark and internationally has been involved in numerous projects in theater, short films, videos, performances and gallery exhibitions. Also lecturing in set design, noteably at Lars von Trier's Zentropa Productions.
Birgitte studied set design and painting at The Berlin University of Arts by Achim Freyer who recently staged 'The Ring Cycle' at the L.A. Opera, and holds a MFA in set design from Denmarks Royal College of Fine Arts.
In 2011, her set design for the staging of ‘The Arsonists’ at The Odyssey Theatre in Los Angeles was nominated as set design of the year by LA Weekly. This year Birgitte was selected as a finalist in the Saatchi Gallery’s Open Call for Abstract Art.
Birgitte is interested in what lies beneath the surface in order to create captivating visual universes.

I have been in the industry since 1999.
