About Me

Being a Director of Photography is more than just a job---it’s who I am. I am constantly observing my surroundings and gathering information. From lighting available or gaffed to color temperature I am aware of a multitude of changes that are happening around me. Keeping up with new and changing technology along with practicing and expanding the skills I have learned on past projects are ongoing objectives.

I take great pride in going above and beyond expectations on every project. Whether that means hiking eight miles across an active lava field to get that one perfect shot or doing jumping jacks in zero degrees waiting for a time-lapse of the stars to finish, I always see a project through to completion with the best possible visual result.
Whether I’m working with the CEO of a national company, a person facing a terminal disease, a soldier training for imminent overseas deployment, or a nervous bride about to tie the knot, respect and professionalism are always my highest priorities.

Just like any spoken language, there are always new ways of communicating through film. When I discover a new camera technique or lighting setup I feel as though my vocabulary has expanded. The endless possibilities for my film language to grow with changing technology make my work a fascinating, constantly evolving game that keeps me active and engaged.

My world is visual, and my specialty is crafting stunning, captivating images and telling stories with them. I never know what challenges and satisfactions my next film project will bring, but I look forward to each one.

I have been in the industry since 2010.
