Petros Antoniadis is an award-winning cinematographer who was born in Chania, Greece.
Petros is the Grandson of the noted painter and photographer Petros Vlahakis, who introduced him to paintings and art at an early age.
Following this exposure, Petros became obsessed with pictures and moving images and at the age of 10 he decided to become a film maker and shot his first live action film The poor man who became rich.
By the age of 14 Petros had completed 2 more short films. It was in the same year, that he had the good fortune to be introduced to the Oscar winning cinematographer Walter Lassally, who became his mentor, and taught and guided him up until Lassally's passing in 2017.
Petros is best known for his work in the popular TV Series "The Chosen" (2021), the films Alter (2011), Without Milk (2015) and Heimlich (2017) as well as the single-shot music video Lightsaber (2017) for the Greek rock-star Panos Mouzourakis, among other distinguished work.
He has completed 3 feature films, over 20 short films and a number of commercials and music videos. His work has earned him 24 international Awards.
I have been in the industry since 2010.
