I began at MSU majoring in Art History and Visual Culture - not knowing anything about the film program there. Then I discovered Media Arts and Technology and switched immediately. Once there, I continued to imagine pursuing my dream job of Director of Photography for movies.
My junior year I found MSU Telecasters - the group of student run TV shows at MSU. I got a spot working on The ShoW, the nation's longest running student-run sitcom. There, I realized that my true passion is for operating camera. Through The ShoW, and the film classes at MSU, I have gained so much experience, knowledge, and confidence in film.
I have been in the industry since 2013.
