I am a freelance executive producer. I am currently producing a documentary for a
2020 Sundance premier. The past several years I have freelanced as the office
manager for Lumina Films and working with my own list of clients. I am looking for
more opportunities in the industry and would love to be considered for the position.
Below is a bit more on my background:
I have a Bachelors of Art from the Art Institute of San Francisco with a focus in video
production. After living in SF I moved to LA tp start working and now have settled in
New York City. I have been freelancing for various studio and production companies
learning and developing my creative skills in working with talent. I myself am a trained
actor. My first gig in Los Angeles I was in a production role as Second Second
Assistant Director for the Los Angeles SAG Feature Film 'Coffee Kill Boss', and last
Year I was the production coordinator on an AFI thesis film called 'Scaremonger'. My
current goal is to have a consistency in employment with a company where I can
continue my film and casting education. These jobs have given me the unique skill set
that will make me an excellent addition to your team. As the production assistant at
Third Street Works, I specialized in film pre and post-production, marketing, and
leveraged various social media outlets to run successful PR campaigns. I also
managed many of their on-site coordination, scheduling meetings, shoots, and
facilitate that their general operations ran smoothly. In addition to working at this small
production house I have learned a lot about producing as well, which I really love.
While at Liz Carauna Photography, I managed the coordination and day-to-day
activities for photo shoots. Not only did I manage social media, I also maintained and
posted directly to the online video platforms i.e Blogs, Twitter/Facebook, YouTube and
Vimeo hosting platforms. I not only have a strong visual eye and great attention to
detail, but my solid background in marketing, team collaboration and event
coordination will lend itself to various roles. In each position I have supported my
superiors and other co-workers in travel arrangements event coordinating and general
office administrative tasks. I am also fluent in the following programs: Movie Magic,
Adobe CS, Lightroom, Photo Mechanic, iCal, Excel and Word, Google Drive, Filemaker
Pro, Final Cut Pro, Compressor, DVD Studio Pro and Wordpress.
