Curry College Student-Athletes Participate in Local Community Reading Day
Added on 11/23/2012
Five members of the Curry College community took a field trip across town to Milton's Cunningham Elementary School to participate in the school's 3rd Annual Community Reading Day event in the Spring of 2012. "We each come from different backgrounds and play different roles in our community, but a common thread that unites us is that we each have a book that was read or a story that was told that brings us fond memories," said Cunningham Principal Dr. Karen Spaulding. Chelsea Munsey, a member of the Colonels Softball team with a double major in Elementary Education and Integrated Liberal Studies, and Management major/Men's Soccer player Mike Quintanilla joined Curry's Men's Soccer Coach Peter Mendel and other distinguished members of the Milton community for a morning spent sharing stories with local youth.
