Erica has worked on the casting of studio films Mean Girls, Something’s Gotta Give, Holiday, X-Men 3, Aquamarine, Glory Road, Eragon. Past indie films Hedwig And The Angry Inch, Shortbus, Party Monster, Double Whammy, Series 7, Great World Of Sound (Sundance), Just Like The Son (Tribeca Festival), The Project (Slamdance Audience Award for Best Film), Dumping Lisa, Blissestrasse and Hannah Has A Ho Phase (featuring Kate McKinnon). In 2001 Erica attended Sundance Film Festival representing the casting of 5 films: Series 7, Acts of Worship, Hedwig and the Angry Inch, Diary of a City Priest, and Double Whammy.
She produced and cast several films, including a gritty dark comedy, “Amateurs” and “Doomsdays” (with Justin Rice & Leo Fitzpatrick), the film C Street” a comedy with Dylan Walsh, Don Stark, Michael Gross, Jessica Blank and Grainger Hines. Erica cast the feature films “Julia”, for director/writer Matthew A Brown, a revenge thriller, “Thirsty,” a musical biopic, “Dark” executive produced by Joe Dante, starring Brendan Sexton III and Michael Ecklund; an intense dramatic feature “The Hudson Tribes”, with a wonderful ensemble of actors including Godfrey, Sherman Howard, Jeff Ware, Owen Campbell, Vanessa Rubio, Jeannine Kaspar, Liz Larsen and Ren Croney.
Short films include “Counterfeit,” and “High Ground” for director Geoff Bailey, the comedy “Stay At Home” (LA Shorts Festival, Big Apple Film Festival), “Oleander” directed/written by Pete Capo, “Visit 57” directed by Kate Phelan; and a hilarious short film “Murphy Crib, featuring an ensemble of creative female comedy talent.
Erica also cast the commedia dell arte play “Delirium’s Daughters”, directed by Kathleen Butler. She served as casting consultant for 2014 Shorty Awards, the awards for best content in social media, attaching Natasha Leggero as host and presenters Matt Walsh, H. Jon Benjamin and Gilbert Gottfried. Erica also is very proud of her casting work for “Unlocked The World of Games Revealed”, an upcoming docuseries about the video game industry. The cast of celebrity correspondents includes Sean Astin, Tom Arnold, Michael Rooker, Matt Walsh, Penn Jillette, and Zelda Williams.

Erica is the NY Casting Director for Stateline Films, casting for promos including TNT, TBS/Domino’s, TLC Say Yes to The Dress, Discovery Channel/SC Johnson and a commercial for Bojangles.
Voice over casting for Biore, Humira, Nielsen, BNP, Capital One, TJ Maxx, Homegoods, Marshalls, Boar’s Head, Chrysler, Stouffers, Samsung, Victoria’s Secret, Little Debbie, Smith Barney, Pepsi, Barilla, Vaseline, Milkbone, Volvo, Hyundai, Bryers, Citibank, Wendy’s, Target, NFL, Mohegan Sun, and Spanish and English voice over for Virgin Mobile.
Erica has cast several hilarious cross-promos for COMEDY CENTRAL, including Bud Light, 3 Musketeers, Twix, Subway, Cigna, Comedy Central App, Burger King, Axe, Geico, Kia, Experian, Budweiser, Lowes, Papa John’s, Dave & Busters, Cadillac, Pop Tarts, Butterfingers, and promos for Amy Schumer show, The Nightly Show with Larry Wilmore, South Park, Tosh.0, promo for comedian Eugene Mirman’s 1 hr comedy special, and Workaholics/Stride Gum. Erica also completed a big campaign for Greenpeace, casting celebrity and up and coming comedy talent and a hysterical Geico commercial.
Over her 21 year career Erica has become an exceptional casting director having worked and learned from commercial and film directors John Cameron Mitchell, Tom DiCillo, Jesse Peretz, Matt Aselton, Phil Morrison, Jeff Preiss, David Gordon Green, Pam Thomas, Kinka Usher, Frank Samuel, Dewey Nicks, Mark Pellington, Mark Tiedemann, Fredrik Bond, Stacy Wall, Morgan J Freeman. This combined with the many casting directors she has worked with (most notably Susan Shopmaker, Jerry Beaver, Liz Lewis and Judy Henderson) have allowed her to develop her own natural techniques in directing, inventive casting ideas and teaching methods.
Erica’s reputation and skills also caught the attention of renowned ad agency Grey Advertising, whose casting department hires her regularly to prep and cast for their top clients, over the past 5 years. Jobs include Pringles, Febreze, Olive Garden, TJ Maxx, Abreva, Emergen-c, Canon, Advil, Panadol, Ad Council, Radio Shack and Breath Right.
Her passion for comedy took her one step further into the trenches of improv. She graduated from Level 1 and 2 Improv at The PIT (The People’s Improv Theater).
