Mission: "To facilitate and support a learning environment in which technology is being utilized to promote success and to enable us all to work smarter in today’s complex society.”

My 17 years of experience with technology began with my studies at Full Sail University in 1995. My experiences since then, both in Pinellas County Schools and with Bay News 9, has made me an exceptional assest to your organization.

I began my career with PCS in 2007 as a Technology Technician at Hamilton Disston School. This year I was given the opportunity to join the Technology Information Systems. This has given me experience with a wide variety of people from general education and ESE, and a wide variety of technology. I have gained expertise with both Mac and Windows platforms, trouble-shooting network, individual, and production-related issues, and communicating effectively with professionals from all walks of our district.

Prior to joining the PCS family I worked with the Bright House family at Bay News 9. I was in the control room running audio and three robotic cameras the day Bay News 9 went live for the first time. By the time I left, seven years later, I had been promoted to Master Control Engineer. Along the way I successfully assisted reporters with project editing, learned that I excelled at running audio for live and recorded shows and robotic and ENG camera work. I was also recognized by my peers and supervisors for the quality of my work, my attention to detail, and my willingness to be a team player.

I left Bay News 9 in 2004 in order to pursue an opportunity to teach Audio Post Production for film at Full Sail University. This opportunity was invaluable to me as I was able to hone the skills I developed at Bay News 9 and apply them to a different media.
