Hello my name is Kobie randolph and I am very interested in working with your company, and believe that my skills, education, and entrepreneurial background are appropriate for the position.

Since age 15, I have noticed my growing interest in marketing and public relations. While still in high school I started my own urban marketing and event planning company, FirstKlass Entertainment.

During my tenure at Tennessee State University I continued to grow my event-marketing company, which became a dominating source of entertainment for the southeast region of America. At TSU my alter ego, the World Famous DJ K-Luv was unleashed after the success of his my late night talk radio show, K-Luv’ s Ya Ya Suite. Also while still a student at I made T.S.U. history by creating, funding, and producing the first student award show , the Black Diamond Awards, a highly anticipated event during TSU’s homecoming.

In 2008 I worked for GrassRoots marketing as an assistant event coordinator. During this time help plan and organize their annual Hoops-N-HipHop Tour. In addition to that I had the opportunity to work with Young Money/Universal Records as an assistant road manager to Young Money Rap Artist Lil Twist. My dutties consisted of booking venues, setting up radio interviews, and thinking outside the box to come up with strategic marketing strategies.

In 2009 at age 22, I decided to open up my own 8,000 square foot nightclub, Rain Ultra Lounge, making me the youngest nightclub owner in America. While operating Rain Ultra Lounge I developed cutting edge marketing strategies using social media such as Twitter, You Tube, and Facebook, In addition to that I develop relationships with radio stations, magazines, and record labels. In the first year of business I coordinated over 15 celebrity events including Lance Gross, Vivica A. Foxx, Terrence J of 106 & Park, Rocsi of 106 & Park, and NFL quarterback Vince Young just to name a few.

In 2010 I wrote a hip-hop motivational self-help book titled “The Champagne Life” that talks about my journey to becoming America’s youngest nightclub owner. The book released in the summer of 2011. Since the release I have been touring the country speaking and spreading my message of “Your perception of your self is the World’s Reality).

I believe that my experiences in marketing and interpersonal skills make me a prime candidate for this position. I am a diligent worker, and passionate about my work. I will be valuable asset to your company and use this as an opportunity to grow and further the development of my marketing skill set.
