A notable Boston area recording studio specializing in narration casting, recording, and editing for clients that include FedEx, Houghton Mifflin Harcourt, Skillsoft, CDM, and National Geographic.
Audio Engineer, August 2003–July 2012

Independently ran narration projects through every phase of development, from pre-production through final delivery.

Worked collaboratively with other in-house engineers on long-term projects which involved overlapping recording and editing sessions, batch file processing and renaming, multiple deadlines, and ongoing client re-drafting.

Interacted directly with clients, working with project managers and producers in person and via teleconference.

Oversaw and troubleshot the various technical aspects of maintaining multiple studio spaces, engineered Pro Tools based sessions in-house as well as via ISDN, and tracked projects from creation through archive across a multi-client file server.

Quickly and accurately edited extensive amounts of raw multi-take narration with careful attention to sound quality, inflection and meaning.

Fostered professional relationships with a cast of leading Boston-based voice talents.

Recorded content for industrial podcasts and created finalized products ready for distribution following client approved transcripts.
