I am a freelance audio mixer, specializing in ENG and doc/reality-style mixing. A brief background... In 2006, I graduated from the University of Southern California with a Bachelors of Science in Music Industry and a minor in Business Administration. While attending USC I began working with audio from the music side, mixing bands live as well as in a studio setting. I honed my ear and mixing skills in the years to follow. About a year ago, I made the transition to the production world. Since then, I have worked on commercials, feature films, and especially reality/documentary television shows. For example, I worked on season 10 of Top Chef in Seattle, and most recently I have been working on a documentary series for Showtime about people at the end of their life, often with only months left to live. It didn't take long to realize my love for the field and the hunger for more work.
For both Top Chef and the Showtime doc, I have been working with production company Magical Elves Inc., giving me a big break in the business. I am currently looking to expand beyond the company which gave me my first taste, find my next project, and reach out to new people. I have a passion for thinking outside the box and producing intelligent programming with substance, depth, and creativity. I know my skill set as an audio mixer will add to the success of any production since I know exactly what it takes to produce a high caliber of entertaining television.
There is an attached copy of my resume (to the left) chronicling my work experience, equipment experience, and various skills and duties as an audio mixer. I am fully confident in my abilities. I come to any set with professional knowledge and positive attitude and I'm eager to show the industry what I can bring to the table.
I have been in the industry since 2012.
