As a Cinematographer, Christian has spent over 15 years working on documentaries, narrative features, commercials and television shows. He's drawn to working with passionate people on interesting and creative projects to which he can bring his cinematic sensibility and aesthetic.
Christian's a collaborator at heart with a thoughtful approach to lighting and a strong sense of tone. His passion is undeniable, as he works tirelessly to achieve a vision for every new project, embracing unique perspectives and the creative challenges that come with production.
Christian's accolades include Best Music Video (Latin Grammy), Best Canadian Feature Film (TADFF), 1st Place Commercial (MOFILM), and Best Canadian Feature Documentary (Hot Docs).
His most recent feature film 'Pyewacket' (starring Laurie Holden -The Walking Dead, and Nicole Muñoz -Defiance and directed by Adam MacDonald) will have it's world premiere at TIFF 2017. Previous to that, his work on the feature film 'Backcountry' (starring Missy Peregrym, Jeff Roop, Eric Balfour, Nicholas Campbell and directed by Adam MacDonald) premiered at TIFF 2014. Other projects include the CBC documentary 'Road to Mercy' (dir. Nadine Pequeneza) and Bravofact short film 'AFK_' (dir. Tyler Hynes).
