Studio Unknown is a bi-coastal, full-service, Dolby® tuned/Print Master Approved facility equipped with a 5.1 dubbing stage and full in house editorial suites. Working closely with filmmakers from all over the country, we have a strong belief in artistic collaboration rather than simply providing a technical service-- from SPOTS to FEATURE FILMS. 2012's LOVELY MOLLY saw rave reviews specifically for the Sound Design and Mix from Studio Unknown. More recently Studio Unknown provided high-concept, visceral sound design and an aggressive 5.1 mix on psychological thriller, ALTERED MINDS, starring Judd Hirsch. Other acclaimed projects include THE QUEST (TV-2014), UNBRANDED (2015) and HERE COMES RUSTY (2016). Studio Unknown's Audio Post Director, Kevin Hill, and Supervising Sound Designer, Matt Davies, strongly believe in making films sonically outstanding, no matter the genre or scale.
