At a very young age, I discovered a passion for art and filmmaking. Around age five, I started making home movies with my cousins that involved news cast and TV show parodies, as well as stop-motion animation shorts. Since then, I continue to make my own short films for school, for the Children’s Heart Foundation of Nevada, and for personal enjoyment. More recently, I started working in various departments of cinematography as a freelancer on a variety of film sets, which has deepened my passion for a more serious form of filmmaking. I began to enjoy art around age ten when it became a release for me while undergoing a heart transplant, and I continue to enjoy painting and drawing since then. In combining these two passions, I enjoy connecting filmmaking and traditional art by exploring cinematography.
