When I started school at Appalachian State University, I wasn't sure what I wanted to do. All I knew is that I had just returned from Cameroon, Africa and had fallen in love with traveling and seeing other cultures. It's all I could talk about when I got back. That trend has been the same for every place I've ever gone. But how could I connect that to a career?
Through my schooling and personal production opportunities, I've created, produced, written, and cast short films, newscasts, independent travel videos, and award-winning audio pieces. I've loved every second of it.
With that in mind, it only made sense for me to connect my two passions. What I love about television, especially travel television, is getting to share parts of the country and the world that some people may never get the chance to see. That's exciting to me; I need to be a part of that world. It's where my passion is.
Please do not hesitate to contact me. I am a young, passionate videographer who learns quickly and is willing to give any job a try. I will graduate from Appalachian State on May 12th, 2013 and am willing to relocate if needed. Thank you for your time and I hope to speak to you soon.
