About Us
We are a 17 year old grassroots organization started in Baltimore MD. Established in 2001, FYD uses TV/film/music production as tools to engage and train previously incarcerated /at-risk youth. Our start was a summer arts camp, in 2004 we opened a youth center which housed a small studio. This became a safe haven for young artists. Music and Film went hand and hand, so the founder expanded to Georgia and created more youth ran recording studios for youth to have a voice. Let's just say that after 20 years thlose voices and fallen and soared. Yet, we are still standing and in Georgia and Alabama. Our target audience has been youth ages 10-18. Summer Arts Camps, After-school programs, Mentoring , Financial literacy Workshops, and Social Enterprise for young adults. Today we are focused on telling stories that would not be told.
We have been in the industry since 2001.
