I am a Production Designer for independent films and I also work as an Art Department Assistant on feature films, television shows, and special events. After graduating from Missouri State University with a degree in Mass Media Production in 2007, I moved to Los Angeles and achieved my goal to work in feature films and tv. I have great knowledge and experience in all aspects of production, especially the Art Department, where I get to create and develop ideas, props, and sets.
My working career first began in television at E! Network, where I interned and later became an Assistant to the Art Department. I worked on an array of projects there, including press junkets, premieres, and red carpet events; such as the Academy Awards and the Emmy Awards. Then my first feature film was in the Art Department on the Fast and Furious. Since then I have worked in various types of production; feature films, tv shows, indie films, theater, special events, and most recently reality tv. I have been fortunate to work on both large and small scale projects with successful creative teams in Los Angeles, Seattle, and St. Louis.
In between projects I design t-shirts, and paint custom canvases and murals. I am also a photographer; specializing in candid black and white photography.
*I'm trying to take the next step in my career looking for positions that are more permanent or in house. If the opportunity presents itself within a production company I would love to production coordinate, be part of the creative/development stage, or work on the art department team doing props, set dressing, or coordinating.* I am willing and ready to relocate at any time.
