Audio Engineer. Song Writer
I have been trained using HD Pro Tools 10 for the past year and a half. Prior to learning the ins and outs of Pro Tools 10, I have had experience with using Logic Pro 9 in various studios setups. Working mostly on a Toft ATB32 (Trident) analog console and patch bay, as well as various layouts of the D Command control surface. As a Receptionist/ Studio Assistant for Maximedia Recording Studios in Dallas, Texas, I received hands on experiences with using a wide range of both digital and analog equipment. Universal Audio LA3A and LA2A Compressors, Vintech Preamps, Boulder and API Preamps, Universal Audio Stereo Tube Pre Amps, an EMT Stereo Tube Reverb Plate, as well as a line of microphones: Shure Betas, Shure SMs, Neumann tube mics, AKG, and Sennheiser microphones. Answering phone calls, scheduling clients in the various studios, and prompting the flow of all media and mail room packages were the daily maintenance requirements while working for Maximedia Recording Studios. I was also in charge of advertising the recording studio through the internet, via Facebook. Kept all studios properly organized and stocked for each artist’s high demand on equipment. As part of the concert venue crew, I was taught the basics of being a stagehand. Learning how to mic drum kits, guitar and bass amps, and how to properly run all XLR cables to the snake head. Designed and ran basic lighting for the Concert Venue acquiring the knowledge of various types of lighting and setups. Working in an extremely fast paced environment, which included multiple and complete set changes throughout the night, kept me quick on my feet while maintaining complete accuracy.
