About Us

Dave Perry is a Los Angeles based Director of Photography for independent film, broadcast, and corporate. Since 2003, Dave has worked with talented directors, producers, production companies, and agencies from Virginia to Florida to California, creating powerful, award winning work. His critical eye for composition is evident in his compelling cinematography.

Dave has been a photographer all of his life and has worked in video since 2003. In 2013 he started his production company Dave Perry Cinematographer LLC with the emphasis of moving into motion picture production. Although DPC-LLC continues to offer post production, Dave has focused his energy on working as a Director of Photography in narrative filmmaking, documentary, and corporate filmmaking.

From the mid 80’s into early 90’s Dave was a professional musician playing up to 150 shows a year with his band Echoes Farm. He’s also a gear head at heart. Dave loves cars, motorcycles, cameras, and machines of any kind. He’s always tinkered with stuff and been able to fix or diagnose gear. He’s even built some of his own production gear.
