About Me

I moved to New York City a couple of years ago and began working as an art director at Lion Brand Yarn Company, an international supplier of knitting and crocheting yarn and tools. At Lion Brand, I oversee the design of product packaging and point-of-sale graphics that appear in major craft and hobby stores across the nation. I also assist in producing photo shoots and manage all of the retouching and archiving of product photography. I have gained valuable experience working as the in-house art director creating and maintaining brand consistency across all print mediums and overseeing freelance designers and photo editors.

Prior to moving to New York, I was the art director at Wright Feigley Communications in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, a small advertising and marketing agency with clients ranging from healthcare organizations to financial institutions to retail shopping centers. I've created designs for logos, promotional posters and print advertisements, social media and website designs, direct mail and assisted in the production of television commercial spots.

At both of these positions, I demonstrated self-motivation and the ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines as the sole art director. I have earned a reputation for my strong work ethic, ability to work fast and efficiently under pressure, and my helpful, team-player attitude.
