I have graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Media Arts & Animation from The Art Institute San Francisco, and I also have a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design from Endicott College. My studies concentrated on fine arts and computer courses – specifically drawing, painting, layout & design, motion graphics, web design, and 3D modeling & texturing – as they are crucial building blocks to becoming an accomplished and knowledgeable individual in the animation & gaming industries.
I have worked on several high profile and independent titles, all of which are listed on my resume and demo reel at www.ericjuneau.com. In the past, I have interned at large corporations and small design companies, thus I am well adept at working in an expansive group-oriented setting or individually on more modest projects. At Pendulum, I assisted on set with body & facial motion capture shoots by recording data using Autodesk MotionBuilder and tracking facial data using PFTrack to be applied to our rigged models. In addition to managing other proprietary software for facial capture, I also work on environment and character modeling & texturing for our uprezzed assets of pre-render cinematics in Maya. I have done work in the Unreal 3 Game Engine for crowd placement and lighting for real-time cinematic work. My post production duties include watching and maintaining the render farm to make sure everything is thoroughly prepared for submission, as well as returning all unsatisfactory renders back to the shading & lighting artists for fixes. Furthermore, I completed compositing work using Fusion for the final renders of our trailers and cinematics. I have also edited some short promotional videos for Pendulum’s website to showcase the company’s work and new technology used in Adobe After Effects and Premiere. I have done some editing work for MTV using Final Cut Pro in the past as well.
