Juliette Dupré is from New Orleans, Louisiana. She began training at ten under Bolshoi honors graduate Constantin Apetrei and his wife Kelly. Juliette also trained in ballet under Yvonne Bergeron and Henry Danton and studied Graham and Duncan modern dance under Cheryl Renner. Juliette continued training at Ballet Austin Academy, The Rock School of Pennsylvania Ballet, and Boston Ballet School where she received personal coaching from master teachers Peter Pawlyshyn, Suki Schorer, Donna Silva, Olga Kostritzky and Gretchen Ward Warren. She received scholarships from The Rock School, Apetrei Dancenter, and private benefactors including Mercedes-Benz sponsorship.
Juliette performed soloist and principal roles with then Regional Dance America Honor Company Ballet Apetrei and began performing professionally freelance at 16. Her teaching career began under Kelly Apetrei in 1998. Juliette was promoted to teach intermediate ballet in 2001 and began substituting for advanced levels and rehearsing the company. After high school, Juliette declined an apprenticeship offer and conservatory scholarships to obtain a Bachelor of Arts with honors from Tulane University in Social Sciences while studying choreography and a Masters in Change Management at The New School in New York City.
Juliette has been on staff at Live Oak Dance, Body Expressions Center for Performing Arts, New Orleans Ballet Association, Conservatory of Ballet Aviv, and Ballet Apetrei and performed freelance. She has also adjudicated scholarship and youth company auditions. Juliette continues to take class at Broadway Dance Center, Marigny Opera Ballet, Jefferson Ballet Theatre, New Orleans Ballet Theatre, Boston Ballet School, and The Ailey School. She is a certified American Ballet Theatre Teacher and a certified pointe shoe fitter through The Perfect Pointe.
