About Me

A freelance Digital Image Technician (DIT) & Media Wrangler based out of Rochester, NY servicing the Northeast & Mid-Atlantic region. However, I will frequently travel throughout the country when needed or as necessary for the task at hand.

I specialize with on-set secure media management, color correction, one-light grades (or full grades) for editorial, and generating dailies. I also can (and do) generate LUTs for use on set for a rough grade reference by the DP, Director, and/or Producer. I'm well versed in all digital file and encoding formats (REDCODE Raw, ARRIRAW, ProRes, DNxHD, and CinemaDNG Raw). Plus any flavor of sequential output (.DPX, .TIF, etc.) for VFX. I'm also well versed with all Digital Cinema, UltraHD, and HD camera systems.

I have a custom built desktop-class portable DIT Station with multiple GPU acceleration running latest versions of DaVinci Resolve, REDCINE-X Pro, ARRIRAW Converter, etc.. I can accept most mainstream media (including Redmags, SxS, CFast, CF, etc.) with any codec. I have Thunderbolt, USB3.0, eSATA, and FW800 for external drive connections.

Having worked years as an editor I understand post-production needs and I enjoy using my creativity, expertise and technological skills to provide the best possible workflow solutions for the post-production team while providing on-set solutions, ideas, and feedback to enhance the Director's or Cinematographer's vision.
