About Me

Director of Photography, Josh Saideman, was born in London, England and raised just outside of New York City where he discovered his love for the arts. This diverse upbringing and artistic melting pot led to his early start in film. Today, Josh works as a Cinematographer on projects of all sizes.

Some clients he has recently worked with include: Interscope Records, Sony Music Entertainment, VH1, Wells Fargo, Dreamville Records, Subway, Coca Cola, Capitol Records, Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson, J. Cole, John Lewis, Quibi, Lil Wayne, Vice News, Mercedes, Cardi B, Delta, Wells Fargo, Minute Rice, Discovery Education, Complex Media, Ric Flair, The Bleacher Report, Chick-Fil-A, Ariana Grande, Ludacris, Future, Earthgang, Lil Baby, J.I.D., Gunna, Young Thug, Russ and Kehlani.

In 2019, Josh shot J. Cole and Dreamville’s ‘Down Bad’ music video which was included in Vibe Magazine’s ‘Top 25 Music Videos of 2019’ at #8 and nominated for ‘Best Rap Performance’ at the 2020 Grammy Awards. Also that year, a short film that Josh shot, ‘Give Us Free,’ won Best Drama Short and the Audience Choice Award at Atlanta Shortsfest and played as an Official Selection at Hollyshorts Film Festival at the TCL Chinese Theatre.

Josh got his start by being a member of IATSE Local 479 which allowed him to work as a lighting technician on large sets. He has done some 1st Unit Grip work on 'The Divergent Series: Insurgent,' 'Red Band Society,' 'Powers,' 'The Originals' and 'Hindsight' and believes that his technical lighting experience has largely impacted his Cinematography work.

Josh delivers commercial quality images and can scale the production to meet any clients budget. With a large network of connections, he can source a team to perform any size project.

Josh is well-versed in a broad range of productions including narrative films, documentaries, commercials, music videos and anything else which requires compelling visual storytelling.
