I am a graduate of Buffalo State College with a Bachelor’s Degree in Media Production. I am looking for the opportunity to work for an organization where I can utilize my education and skills. I have thorough experience working in all aspects of production. With my experiences in my internships with Squeaky Wheel, ArtVoice and freelance work, I can confidently say I would be an asset to any team.
My greatest achievement that I am most proud of is a short documentary I produced; titled “Jilly’s Law” This documentary was instrumental in getting a comprehensive domestic violence law passed in the New York State Legislature and the bill will soon be signed by Governor Andrew Cuomo.
At Squeaky Wheel as part of my internship was to help run the Buffalo Youth Media Institute. A six week high intensive program that teaches local high school students how to compose, shoot and edit their own documentaries using up to date equipment and editing suites. Also created and managed the Facebook, Twitter and Tumblr pages for the program.
For the rest of my stay as an intern at Squeaky Wheel, composed content for fundraising events for Squeaky Wheel’s Twitter and Facebook invite pages.
At Artvoice I was a videographer responsible for shooting, editing and uploading videos of sponsors of the local free newspaper in Buffalo, New York. Making sure clients were satisfied with the quality and content of the videos.
My high energy, always a positive individual who is good at motivating people. I take pride in being able to multi-task and juggle a lot of responsibilities at one time. I look at change as being an opportunity to learn and will put in whatever hours are needed to get a job done.
