Hastings On Hudson, New York
I am an award-winning American film director, screenwriter, and producer. I attended NYU's Tisch School of the Arts, where I was recipient of the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation Grant for screenwriting, the Martin Scorsese Post-Production Award and the Best Producing Award at the NYU First Run Student Film Festival.
After graduating, I got my start under Martin Scorsese, interning for his editor Thelma Schoonmaker on two separate film projects. I also worked as a film restoration artist for The Criterion Collection, restoring foreign art films and Hollywood classics frame by frame.
In 2002 I produced the gritty urban drama Rage and Discipline for Roger Corman. Produced for only $100,000, Rage and Discipline was broadcast nationally on BET and was picked up for distribution by Walt Disney video. In 2005, I line produced and 2nd unit directed the modern war film The Hunt for Eagle One, starring Mark Dacascos, Teresa Randle and Rutger Hauer, released by Sony Pictures.
In addition to my passion for film, I maintain an avid interest in history (particularly American) and the martial arts.
I have been in the industry since 1999.
