I recently graduated from college with a degree in Broadcasting and Mass Communications and a Minor in Audio Production and Design. I am a very dependable and an extremely hard worker looking for a positive work environment to get my professional audio career started. I have a strong foundation in audio that would allow me to be a great asset to any team.
During college I worked as the Head Lab Assistant for almost 4 years in the Audio/Video editing labs. My task was to assist students with their productions and assignments using the Pro Tools 8 software. My duties also included general maintenance and upkeep of the audio suites and equipment. From time to time I was also asked to step in and teach full size classes some different techniques to use while editing and recording audio.
While working as the Head Lab Assistant I also took various courses in audio production, both introductory and advanced. Some of these courses include Music Recording, Sound for Film, Sound Design, and Radio Production. During the Month of February 2013 I took part in Introduction to Music Recording classes Subcat Studios in Syracuse, New York. I learned about different microphone placement techniques and general studio workflow. I also learned some basic mixing methods with different Pro Tools plug-ins and some types of analog gear as well.
I am simply looking for an employer who can utilize my talents in any way at all. I want to show up to work and do the best I can do every day, no matter what my tasks and responsibilities are.
Thank you in advance for your time and consideration.
I have been in the industry since 2009.
