About Me

Michael is a freelance Cinematographer specializing in narrative storytelling. Upon graduating film school, he began working at a high end camera and lighting equipment rental house, and continued collaborating on many diverse projects as a Gaffer, Camera Operator, and Cinematographer. He strives to keep up to date on current equipment and workflows.
He has a working knowledge of film and photographing with motion picture cameras, as well as the industry's top digital cameras ranging RED Digital, Arri Alexa, and other 4K+ digital camera systems. With an understanding of exposure theory and photometrics, Michael applies his own ever-evolving lighting techniques to help serve the story at hand.
