Thais Oliveira started her modeling career by participating in a modeling contest provided by Elite Model Management. After the contest she traveled to Japan where she was the second black model ever to work there, as Japan has a very restricted modeling marked, all went so well that she return four more times in a two year period. After Japan she went and spend two months in Hong Kong, also modeling.
In 2004 Thais Oliveira moved to Paris, where she was based for 3 years of her career. In Paris she worked for big houses like, Yves Saint Laurent, Givenchy, Zuahir Murad, Vivienne Westwood, Issey Miyake and many others. She did fashion shows for Zuahir Murad, Vivienne Westwood, Givenchy, Jean Paul Gaulthier. She did editorials for Citizen K, American Vogue, Madame Figarro, Harpers Bazar. Worked with very well know photographers like Enrique Badulesco, Michelangelo Di Batista, Solve Sudsbo, Elen Von Unwerth. Worked for hair and make up brands like Garnier, Loreal, La Roche Posay.
In 2007 she moved to NYC and it's where she have been living right now, she have a very busy schedule with clients that book her month after month, like Neimans Marcus, Macys, Kohls, Chicos and many others.
Professional Experience: THAIS OLIVEIRA have done campaigns for HM, Loreal, Garnier, La Roche Posay, The Body Shop. Shoot with great photographers like Solve Sudsbo, Thierry Le Goues, Elen Von Unwerth, Michelangelo di Battista and many others. She have travelled to Paris, Japan, Milan, Hong Kong, Germany, London, New York.
