I'm a graduate of the University of Texas at Dallas with a bachelors in Arts and Technology with a focus on computer animation. I took a wide variety of classes though, I would say I was more of a generalist.
In college, most of my courses were project based with strict deadlines. I had to juggle multiple projects which helped me learn how to manage my time, as well as be able to handle multiple tasks and setting priorities. I took part in many group projects where we had to learn to effectively work together to reach our goals. There were always problems to solve and sometimes they required creative solutions. We had to research, learn, and figure out how to implement whatever we needed; this required lots collaboration and dedication.
I was team lead in a number of group projects in college where I was responsible for overseeing and managing my colleagues and making sure deadlines were met. While at ReelFX I had to identify errors and correct any broken render images. It required having a good eye for detail, research, and a bit of patience.
