About Me

A native of Las Vegas and graduate of the Las Vegas Academy, Aaron Ramsey has a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Scoring for Film, TV and Video Games from Berklee College of Music. While in Spain, Aaron also studied electronic dance music with international DJ Encanti.

Selected to be part of the prestigious Society of Composers and Lyricists Mentor Program in Los Angeles, his film music was heard in the 2015 Palm Springs Short Film Festival as recorded by the Budapest Art Orchestra. in 2014 he conducted the London Session Orchestra at the famous Air Lyndhurst Studio with his original score to the short film Chocolate Hair and The Las Vegas Youth Orchestra premiered his work, Galloping Across the Galaxy, on their summer tour of Germany and Poland under the direction of Geoff Neuman.

As founder and artistic director of the group Vertex3, they performed Ramsey’s original music for the Las Vegas Philharmonic 2015 Gala. He was also recently commissioned to write for the Nevada School of the Arts and Las Vegas Jazz Connection. An integral contributor to the burgeoning Downtown arts scene in Las Vegas, his music has been featured at the Composer’s Showcase at The Smith Center and the 2016 Las Vegas Film Festival in the Inspire Theater. He performs his original music as DJ Spiraal each First Friday near Art Square in Downtown Las Vegas.
