About Me

The Basic:
I am organized, goal-oriented, detail-oriented and non-ego driven.
I believe in calm, decisive organizations that control the mood and atmosphere of production from the top down. The people who create the plans, execute the plans, should give everyone involved the tools they need to be successful and find a way to keep moving things forward.

Experience Matters:
In "The Tipping Point" Malcolm Gladwell points to a concept of 10,000 hours.
10,000 hours of practice, work, experience to get to the highest levels.
In my background, I have mixed and cross-practiced more types of work, in more areas than most people.
I have experience in news gathering and production (print and broadcast, The Chicago Reporter, CBS), small productions (Photography – editorial and commercial for Vogue Italia, British, Maxim America, Playboy Deutsche), extremely large live productions (fashion shows, formal detail-oriented, high end presentations, shows and dinners - financial world, entertainment, media, upfronts, awards), and am familiar with every aspect of the production process.
Film Production: From production manager, to set photographer, from lighting designer, location scout, grip and logistics.
I've worked in fashion, events, entertainment and media in marketing, manufacturing, design, production, business development, client and customer outreach.
I have worked at high levels and low. I work. I produce. I move things to happen. I watch money, people, time, and the inter-relationship of them. And I understand what people care about.

Education:
I have an education background in English Literature (writing), Business Administration (MBA – Marketing), and film production (MFA – NYU).
However, regardless of the education, I would strongly suggest that education is not what you should look at.

I can work in office production or field production.
