About Us

We feature a 1,500 square foot sound stage with a three-cyc wall configuration. The cyc walls are 33’ long with 19’ sides. We also feature a professional recording studio with four isolation booths and a large control room. Our facility is ideal for recording audio and video, post production of audio, with room for video post production.

Our Sound Stage features a 16’ high lighting grid that covers the entire stage. We have 120 Amps of dimmable and switched Edison outlets suitable for meeting the needs of LED lighting installed above the lighting grid. We also have 600 Amps of three phase AC from a dedicated transformer with cam lok connections. We offer a basic lighting package that includes LED background lighting, Fresnels and a DMX lighting control system. We have a 12’ x 12’ insulated roll up door covered with sound insulating elephant doors that provide direct access to the stage.

The Stage rental includes the exclusive use of a 300 square foot furnished production office with direct double door access to the Stage. The production office features a conference table with seating for six, couches and director chairs.

The Stage features sound baffles and multiple layers of acoustic treatment capable of accommodating all types of filming including filming of musical performances. We also have movable sound insulating curtains that can enclose the entire stage, offering the ability to shape acoustics.

The sound stage also features a crow’s nest located within the production room with windows overlooking the Stage. The crow’s nest has a mixing board installed for the control of audio created within the Stage. The mixing board connects to our recording studio to enable high quality recordings of live music. Bands can use the Sound Stage to film a performance while capturing audio at studio recording quality.

We rent various lighting packages and grip gear that are housed in a three ton lighting and grip truck Productions are also welcome to bring their own gear.

Recording Studio:

Our recording studio features four isolation booths with unique sizes and acoustical characteristics designed to accommodate vocals, voice overs and bands. The iso booths have line of site visibility each other and to a producer station located in the center of the control room. The iso booths are frequently used for recording music, voice overs and audio pick-ups.

Facility:

Our Sound Stage and Recording Studio share the use of our 300 square foot lounge with adjoining kitchen. The lounge features glass walls for brainstorming; a 4k TV for viewing footage, SKYPE video conferencing or just watching TV; and an audio conferencing phone. We offer a makeup room with three stations, each of which has a dedicated 20 Amp circuit, makeup mirrors and salon seating. We also have two bathrooms and a shower. We have high-speed (50M) Internet and WiFi throughout the facility.

We are located in Westlake Village close to restaurants, clubs, hotels and steps away from wineries. We are a 30 minute drive to Hollywood, but a world away in comfort and ambiance. Our location does not have freeway, train, airplane or other intrusive noises. We provide 10 reserved parking spaces for vehicles in our own parking lot with additional parking available on site and plenty of street parking. We also have two furnished offices that can be rented for production offices. Our studios have been designed to inspire creativity and artistic achievement.
