In May 2008, Mueller graduated from the prestigious School of Cinematic Arts at the University of Southern California where he wrote, directed and produced a number of award-winning short films.
Throughout college, Mueller also gained valuable knowledge and experience by interning for various production companies such as the Michael Bay owned Bay Films, and the Jennifer Aniston owned Echo Films.
Upon graduating, he immediately began work on the script for his first feature film, “Green Guys”, a crime film in the vein of “Ocean’s Eleven” and “Wall Street.” By the following spring, the script was completed and “Green Guys” went into production with a budget of 130,000 dollars. “Green Guys” was released nationwide through Filmworks Entertainment on VOD, iTunes, some retails stores and rental outlets across the country, and, in 2012, was awarded the Silver Ace award at the Las Vegas Film Festival.
In the fall of 2011, Mueller began pre-production on his second feature film “Magic Hour” about a young man who is befriended by a local crime family. “Magic Hour” had a cast that consisted of C. Thomas Howell (The Outsiders, The Amazing Spider-Man), William Russ (Boy Meets World), Kris Lemche (Final Destination 3), and is currently available in stores.
Mueller launched his commercial production house Vitascope Arts in early 2015.
I have been in the industry since 2009.
