Art in Motion - Oswaldo Guayasamín
Added on 1/29/2015
Several University of Notre Dame professors approached me to help them create a documentary teaching series for a traveling art installment centered around the work of Oswaldo Guayasamín, namely his mural "Ecuador", and how it told the story of the racial and sociopolitical issues of Ecuador in the 1950s. This particular video is the presentation of Paola Uparela Reyes, one of the graduate students involved with the project, and focuses on "Huayacañán", his first major work. The composite video of the entire project can be viewed here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-hLYiUKdDfs
