For the last 17 years I have been working in the media production industry. My roots started in high school where I made ski films to mimic the Warren Miller films I watched on Park City Television. From high school my career blossomed I was was granted a scholarship to attend the University of Utah to study film. While getting my degree at the University I worked at KSL the local NBC affiliate as an editor, this then blossomed into a full time news photographer position. I spent 7 years at KSL covering two Olympic games (2002, 2006) and a wide variety of other major news events around the world.
After working at KSL I went into the freelance world, I have worked with multiple production companies. I helped Fischer Productions produce/edit/shoot multiple shows that aired on ESPN2 and the Outdoor Channel, one of the shows I worked on "Wanna Go Fishin" won an Emmy.
Another one of my more notable works was a lead editor position on a show called "Duck Commander" that aired on the Outdoor Channel. That show would eventually be "Duck Dynasty" and be one of the highest rated reality shows.
After that I started working with Under Armour clothing. I helped the outdoor division develop their brand through web content, commercials and then television series called “Ridge Reaper” that aired on the Outdoor Channel for three seasons.
As you can see I have produced, edited, and shot hundreds of hours of television that has aired on ESPN, NBC, NBC Sports, Outdoor Channel, and Discovery. I’m a hard worker who has a passion for telling compelling stories.
When I'm not working I spend my time with my Family in the outdoors, skiing, climbing, biking, or at the beach surfing.
I have been in the industry since 1999.
