Brett is an efficient freelance sound designer/mixer for your professional sound design and post production audio editing & mixing needs. He has two diplomas in the audio engineering field and professional post production audio experience since 2008, working for several larger Audio Post Houses. He is available to freelance for Audio Post Houses that are experiencing overflow work, as well as filmmakers, advertising agencies, producers, editors, and other creatives who want their media production to have superb audio quality - hourly and project rates available.
Brett has been on the sound team for many feature & short films, documentaries and television series, as well as television/radio promos, advertisements, corporate/brand videos, video games, and other media. His work has been heard at film festivals and web browsers around the world, as well as on top-rated networks/channels in the U.S. and Canada, such as: Discovery, National Geographic, AHC, TLC, PBS, Destination America, Velocity, Science, NBC Sports, CBC, CTV, OMNI, Super Channel, and APTN.
Many of the films and television series Brett has worked on have gone on to receive many award nominations and wins, including several for sound.
In the summer of 2015 Brett moved to Texas, and decided to take the plunge and freelance. After a year and a half of freelancing from his own 5.1 studio, Brett moved to Calgary, Alberta, where he operates out of his own 5.1 capable studio, and is familiar with professional audio practices/standards and deliverables.
