About Me
I am an accomplished recording/mix engineer, composer and editor with 20+ years of hands-on live and studio experience in both music and post audio.
My work in film can be heard in the Oscar/Grammy winning "Amy", as well as award winning Kill Your Darlings, OXD, Stuck and Heroes Don't Come Home, among others.
I am also a freelance engineer for CBS Evening News where I record, edit, sound design spots including those for 60 Minutes, Sunday Morning and NCIS.
Recent music production and writing credits include: 3x Grammy nominated, multi-platinum artist, Brad Roberts (Crash Test Dummies). ASCAP President and award winning songwriter Paul Williams, The Sisterhood, Kalsey Kulyk and several others.
I am a co-founder of Hookist. a music co-creation platform for celebrated artists/bands and their fans that revolves around a collaborative songwriting experience. It is a series of month-long songwriting EVENTS where fans of artists and songwriting, submit lyrics and engage with the artist, and together as a community write a song. It is also an opportunity for the artist(s) to engage with their fans in an authentic way that is actually RELEVANT to their art and meaningful to their fans.
Adding to my list of hats I also produce podcasts for Jazz Times, Wine Enthusiast and Pod de Deux and am an accomplished script writer/editor and well versed in directing reads.
I have been in the industry since 1999.
