About Me
I am a director of photography, cinematographer and owner of Scheimpflug, a grip & lighting equipment rental house based in Hell's Kitchen, NYC. My expertise is in commercials, fashion, music videos, television production, and indy film productions. My commercial clients include Ford Motor Company, Pepsi, Macy's, Nike, Gillette, and Alibaba, just to name a few. I've shot some small bits of television for Warner Brothers' "Prodigal Son," as well as I served as shot opening sequences for the new "Star Trek" series. I was Director of Photography for part of the "INVISIBLE" series, directed by Doug Liman. INVISIBLE is the first major scripted series designed specifically for 360-degree virtual reality.
I began studying film, photography, and art at an early age, and attended Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan. I was a lighting designer for David LaChapelle, Peter Beard, and Patrick Demarchelier. I have traveled extensively, working in more than 60 countries.
