As a former reporter and journalist, I approach video production as an experienced storyteller. We specialize in interviews. We have conducted thousands of on-camera interviews for documentaries, news segments, corporate videos and more. We also own and operate teleprompters for executive videos, and produce live webcasts with up to 8 cameras that can run on any CDN (content delivery network like Facebook, Livestream or Ustream). We also operate a dubbing studio to focus on English to Spanish dubbing of content using professional voiceovers and talent. I operate through my company, Explica Media, which has built a reputation for excellence, reliability and discretion.
For me, video is about engaging an audience through compelling narratives and good editing. I approach event coverage as a journalist, and have extensive experience interviewing VIPs and capturing the moment on video. I can work alone, or with a team of experienced colleagues, depending on the budget and need. I can shoot and edit my own work if needed. I use cameras ranging from the 4K Sony FS7 to event cameras like the Sony PMW 200 and DSLRs. Hiring me means your story will get told in the most compelling way, always conscious of deadlines and budgets. I can also edit my own videos, which can keep a budget down in many cases. My most recent documentary, The Fellowship of the Springs, is a two-part investigative series about Florida's endangered, but globally unique, fresh water springs. Another recent documentary, Exotic Invaders: Pythons in the Everglades, won an Emmy and is available for viewing on Amazon Prime in case you want to check it out.
I have been in the industry since 2008.
