I am a photojournalist and videographer based in Amman, Jordan, where I focus on the humanitarian and military response to conflict, as well as environmental and gender issues. I previously lived in Washington, DC, where I worked as a photo editor with AARP. While in DC, I also served as an officer for the Women Photojournalists of Washington (WPOW). I'm a wayward Cajun from Louisiana and can get by in English, French, Arabic, and Turkish. I have received HEFAT training from Global Journalist Security.
I'm currently pursuing a MA in Visual Anthropology, Media and Documentary Practices at the University of Muenster in Germany. I earned my BFA in Photojournalism from the Rochester Institute of Technology.
I'm represented by ZUMA Press and am a contributor to Getty Images Global Assignment.
