I've been in the Independent Feature Film business for over 22 years. I work as a Producer, Line Producer, UPM. I'm a member of the DGA (UPM), Producers Guild, Television Academy and SAG/AFTRA. I have union and non union production companies and can do negative pick ups or Productuon Services Agreements. I I've had my features on Hallmark, Lifetime, Sy FY, Ion, and Up. As well as HBO, Showtime way back in the days when they picked up action movies. I guess you can say I "specialize" in low budget- anywhere from $100,000 to $5 million. Looking to UPM in television transitioning from features to television - I guess you could say that's my goal. I can read a script and give you a budget number just like that - Or if YOU give me a budget , I will breakdown script (I can schedule as well) and tell you and writer exactly what needs to be done to get to that "magic" number. I do my own accounting with quickbooks - do budgets in Movie Magic, Cash Flows and Cost Reports in Excel. I know every aspect of production as being in the "low budget" area you HAVE to do these things. I can't even tell you how many features I've done but you can look me up on IMDB (Kimberly A Ray) Keep in mind there is an Editor with my same name that might pop up. I also write and can productionre-write scripts as well as creative. (I actually started out as a writer - I came from Ohio with an Advertising background and just moved my way into production. Anyway, that's my story. Here's to continuing making films in Los Angeles! (FYI: I can work in other states, countries and do tax credits and sell them) 😄
I have been in the industry since 1995.
