About Me

Nathaniel Regier is a freelance cinematographer located here in Los Angeles. Most of my experience lies in short form narrative drama, music video and fashion work. I specialize in creating grounded, yet visually stark images to build worlds that ground a narrative and it's characters.

I'm passionate and dedicated about the projects I work on. More than anything I love a truly collaborative relationship with the director. Listening and conversing in order to understand their vision and then working to figure out how to achieve it. I'm a big believer in thorough prep. I always prefer to dig into pre-production as early as possible, working with art, production, VFX and various other departments to create a plan for production together as a team. I recognize the DI as a powerful tool in modern digital workflow, and I am passionate about seeing the images all the way through post and onto delivery in order to maintain and preserve the visual world established in pre-production and on-set.

I have been in the industry since 2013.
