About Me

Hard working Creative with experience as a Set Dresser, Standby Dresser, Props Master, Buyer/Shopper, stylist, pattern maker, seamstress, Scenic painter. I have worked on feature films, TV series, TV commercials and music videos. I am originally from South Africa but currently in LA.

My film journey began in 2014 when I joined a team of film makers to participate in the Cape Town leg of the "48 Hour film project". I joined the team as wardrobe stylist and shorty after found myself quitting my then job to pursue a full time career working in the Art Department for film, which I have been doing in Cape Town, South Africa since then.

I love the format of what we get to do in the art department in all senses. From the first point of reading through a script, to the research process of understanding the period in which the film may be set, to sourcing the finer details that make everything come together and finally, checking every corner of what you see in the shot to make sure that absolute attention to detail has been adhered to.
