The bulk of my career has been spent directing, producing, shooting and editing documentaries and magazine shows. Long form, in-depth reporting is my forte, although I have also created many short videos for broadcast, web, and corporate clients.
I am a scuba diver versed in underwater photography, a Steadicam operator, and an FAA Certificated Remote Pilot. I not only fly camera drones, but I am also a Remote Pilot trainer at the UAS Academy in Warrenton, VA, one of the premier drone pilot training schools in the nation.
I have also been involved in producing projects all over the world, so I am quite familiar with the challenges that international travel presents. Many of these works were award-winning endeavors, including the EMMY-winning TCM documentary Blacklist: Hollywood on Trial, and The Discovery Channel's Normandy: The Great Crusade, a 90-minute documentary examining D-Day from both sides of the front lines.
I was appointed by NASA to direct, write, and produce 2 full-length documentaries. One was to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Apollo moon landings, and the other was to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the entire agency.
I also spent four years creating, publishing and editing an award-winning regional magazine, so I am well-versed in the print world as well.
I have been in the industry since 1975.
