Brooklyn, New York
An assistant editor with a strong attention to detail who anticipates and fulfills the requests of editors and others on the post-production team. I am proficient in Adobe Premiere, After Effects, and Avid, along with some basics of DaVinci Resolve and Adobe Photoshop. Currently based in NYC.
I discovered my passion for film editing at a young age -- experimenting with whatever cameras and software I could get my hands on to make short videos. Over time, not only did my camera equipment and software become more refined, but so did my skills and techniques. By high school, I had taught myself how to use a number of consumer editing softwares and seized every opportunity to learn more about the craft.
Fast forward to May 2017, I graduated summa cum laude from Stonehill College with a Bachelor of Arts in Early Childhood Education and Psychology. At that time,
I did some soul-searching; and, instead of pursuing that avenue, I decided to follow my dream of becoming a film editor. In Fall of 2017, I attended the Six-Week Course at Manhattan Edit Workshop (MEW) where I edited a variety of projects with Avid and Adobe Premiere Pro, as well as worked with After Effects.
I applied what I learned at MEW during a summer internship in 2018 at Outpost Digital (the post-production division of RadicalMedia). Over a few months, I was immersed in the film industry and learned so much in regards to various workflows and best practices. Since then, I've continued on at Outpost as an assistant editor working on a variety of projects. I recently wrapped up on a true crime docuseries, "Conversations with a Killer: The Ted Bundy Tapes", which will be released on Netflix in January 2019.
I have been in the industry since 2017.
