About Me

I am a freelance costume designer and wardrobe stylist for film, print, commercial, digital media, and fashion. I received my BA from Sarah Lawrence College in 2007 and spent 12 years in New York City working in fashion on both the design and editorial side. Some highlights from that period include working on a fashion film for the brand Electric Feathers starring Hole's Melissa Auf der Maur, costuming a show for the political cabaret troupe Citizen's Band, and assisting in a presentation for Mercedes Benz fashion week. Since moving to Minneapolis in 2014 I have worked as a freelance wardrobe stylist for myriad clients including HAUS salon, Target, and Republic Services. I have costumed several shorts for Minneapolis' Grey Duck Productions, the recent feature "Christmas Break-In" starring Danny Glover and Denise Richards, and the forthcoming feature "Dark Cloud." Costuming for film is my primary focus, as my work is concerned with the way that clothing and personal style lends itself to shaping a character's identity informing the over-arching narrative. I am a voracious researcher with a seemingly endless cache of reference points, and like to work closely with directors and producers to create a distinctive aesthetic for each character. I have also amassed a significant archive of costume resources-antique, vintage and contemporary-collected over the last 20 years which I often use in productions.

I have been in the industry since 2014.
