About Us

Our team has been designing and fabricating scenic elements and immersive performance environments since 2011. With 10,000 sq. ft. of production space in Gainesville, FL, we work on everything from carpentry, metal, plastic, textile, ceramics, styrofoam, as well as mechanical, electronic, and lighting design integrations.

Everyone on Pulp's staff is an artist first and foremost. Whether it's a familiar process or experimenting in a new medium, we love to get our hands dirty and explore the outer limits of creativity. We can get down in the construction trenches, but when the rubber meets the road, we'd rather be building sets, light installations and stage productions any day of the week.

That being said, if your project requires more in the box creative deliverables. We work out of a state of the art recording studio and have two video editors on staff. We’re ready to clean up your mix, edit your reel, or help get your podcast off the ground!

Soleri Portal Stage

The stage design for FORM, Arcosanti 2016 created an architectural beacon and performance space for high-energy evening events in the canyon below Arcosanti. Hand-batiked and sewn fabric was designed to interact with custom LED light rings creating a dynamic and colorful background against the night, while a collage of found 16mm footage played on a circular screen at the center of the stage.
