About Me

Carol McPherson is a recent alumna of the University of Massachusetts Amherst, graduating with a bachelor’s degree in Anthropology and Communication with a Certificate in Film Studies. Her body of work includes experimental narrative, video essay, and documentary in locations ranging from Massachusetts and Rhode Island to Italy and Croatia. Carol’s short film Still, Life was featured in the 2018 Five College Film Festival in the experimental category. She plans to pursue documentary and narrative filmmaking after college, hoping to combine her passion for storytelling with her anthropological academic roots.

Resonance is a short documentary film exploring music as a mode of communication through a holistic and multidisciplinary lens.
