I’m a director, cinematographer, and editor with offices in Birmingham, Alabama and North East, Maryland. I work across much of the Eastern U.S. and offer a wide range of creative services including video commercials, documentaries, aerial drone photography, wedding photography, headshot photography, family portraits, architecture photography, product photography, real estate photography, and much more. I own all of the gear needed for successful video and photo shoots and when needed I rent high end 4K raw cameras for indie films and higher budget jobs.

I graduated from Auburn University with a B.A. in Radio, TV, and Film. I started freelancing in 2006 and soon founded Hunter Nichols Productions. I’m now a seasoned professional with over thirteen years of experience in video and photo production. I have more than four years of experience with drones and aerial photography and hold an FAA commercial drone license (UAS Remote Pilot Certificate). Over the years, I’ve developed a great relationship with many clients, small and large, including The Nature Conservancy, HBO, Coca-Cola, National Fish and Wildlife Foundation, Apple, Time Inc, Southern Environmental Law Center, and many more.

I have been in the industry since 2006.
